Adjustment Of Journal Publication Regulations In Accordance With New Kemendiktisaintek Provisions
Authors, Reviewers, Editors, and Readers of the International Journal of Advanced Reasoning and Computational Intelligence (IJARCI)
Dear Sir/Madam,
In order to align with the latest policy developments regarding the management and accreditation of scientific journals in Indonesia, IJARCI is adjusting its publication system in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 9 of 2026 concerning Scientific Journal Accreditation, as well as the Decree of the Director General of Science and Technology Number 374/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026 concerning Technical Guidelines for Scientific Journal Accreditation.
These regulatory adjustments reflect IJARCI’s commitment to maintaining the quality of publication governance, the consistency of the journal's identity, the transparency of the publication process, and the sustainability of journal management in compliance with national standards for scientific journal accreditation.
In conjunction with the implementation of these regulations, starting from the 2027 publication period (Volume 1), IJARCI will adjust its issue numbering system as follows:
- Adjustment of Volume and Issue Numbers : The journal numbering system will be aligned with the latest provisions, specifically the consistent use of numerical formats for volume and issue numbers in accordance with the journal's publication identity.
- Reorganization of Journal Publication Identity : Every published article will adhere to the updated journal identity structure, including information on volume, issue number, publication year, article pagination, and other metadata elements to ensure uniformity within the OJS system and journal indexing.
- Adjustment of the OJS Publication System : Journal management will update publication configurations on the Open Journal System (OJS) platform, including settings for volumes, issue numbers, and publication-related article metadata.
- No Change to the Publication Status of Previously Published Articles : Articles that have already been published retain their valid publication status corresponding to their respective publication editions. This adjustment is being implemented solely to harmonize the publication system with the latest regulations.
We seek the support and understanding of all authors, reviewers, editors, and readers regarding this adjustment process. This measure is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance journal management quality and ensure compliance with applicable standards of scholarly publication governance.
We thank all parties for their attention and cooperation.
Editorial Team
IJARCI
